by default neither. just a folder
tharkun 2017-02-24 14:48:41
missmbob: hmm a folder?
somiaj 2017-02-24 14:49:16
tharkun: just another directory part of the root filesystem. I think there is an option you can pick to make it its own partition and ways to run it on tmpfs, but default it is just part of /
somiaj 2017-02-24 14:49:31
tharkun: though configure it the way you want
tharkun 2017-02-24 14:52:41
somiaj: I think I could use a small ramdisk or a tmpfs as you call them. Do you know what would be my night reading for today :)
somiaj 2017-02-24 15:05:34
tharkun: there is a systemd unit you need to enable or configure, after that it should set it up for you
somiaj 2017-02-24 15:07:35
tharkun: in jessie there is a tmp.mount, so just systemctl enable tmp.mount should be enough
