Timmy13: here's a s.o question doing pretty much exactly what you described: http://stackoverflow.com/q/17791828
Timmy13 2017-02-23 02:49:01
tw thanks for the link. Still, I'm not sure if this is what I meant: In my case, three (maybe consecutive) lines would be missing (because no change in 'data in' value), and three more at 15:58:03, 15:58:17 and 15:58:19 could be there. Or do you mean that "autoscale" statement should compensate for that?

n4dir, I am wondering if I should upgrade the kernel to one from backports
n4dir 2017-02-23 02:55:45
smhar: that was quite a time lag :-) I for one don't care much for new kernels. If the actual one doesn't support the hardware, i use the newer one. Else: like said, i don't care much.
n4dir 2017-02-23 02:55:51
but the opinion might differ.
n4dir 2017-02-23 02:56:21
otoh: try it, if it doesn't work, or doesn't give you any pleasure, just boot into the old one and remove the new one again. no biggie
n4dir 2017-02-23 02:57:48
smhar: i am pretty tired, not sure if i made it clear. If in doubt: wait for other answers.
smhar 2017-02-23 02:58:01
n4dir, had to put baby back to sleep. the current one works fine with my laptop.. the only thing is the wifi dropping connection
tw 2017-02-23 02:58:06
Timmy13: It will place them on the timeline in the appropriate location; it is aware of what "time" means.
smhar 2017-02-23 02:58:43
n4dir, but I also though that trying a realtime kernel maybe increase the performance of the desktop responsiveness
n4dir 2017-02-23 02:59:58
i see. Like said: i would simply give it a try. As far i can see, no big harm can be done.
tw 2017-02-23 03:00:10
smhar: If you're not encountering a bug or missing a feature, I'd say stick with what you've got. Don't change what isn't broken.
Timmy13 2017-02-23 03:00:20
tw well, that sounds great. Much better than excel! ;)
Timmy13 2017-02-23 03:00:28
thanks for you help!
n4dir 2017-02-23 03:00:50
back then the liquorix kernel was quite hip (i for one never see a difference, just saying)
tw 2017-02-23 03:01:00
Timmy13: you're welcome.

I run grsec from backports, but that's probably just paranoia and tinfoil hat.
webly 2017-02-23 03:07:17
hi
webly 2017-02-23 03:07:28
So I started ngrok tool, and detached it (tmux - ctrl+d)
webly 2017-02-23 03:07:48
but apparently after my terminal/console crashed (and reset) the ngrok process seems terminated
jelly 2017-02-23 03:15:32
webly: did the tmux session survive at all?
webly 2017-02-23 03:16:03
jelly: no, tmux crashed, too
webly 2017-02-23 03:16:11
but I expected to revive it after starting it again
webly 2017-02-23 03:16:15
I entered tmux
webly 2017-02-23 03:16:18
then I list the sessions
webly 2017-02-23 03:16:23
and find out the only session is the current one :O
