Hi! I have a lil question, how can I install the "GCC ARM embedded" toolchain with sudo manager on my Debian? I've tried with "sudo apt-get install gcc-arm-embedded" but it's somehow wrong :-(
gnat_x 2017-02-28 14:59:42
Eszett__: that's definitely not a package. perhaps you mean one of these: https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=all§ion=all&arch=any&searchon=all&keywords=gcc+arm+embedded
Shadow_7 2017-02-28 15:00:22

Eszett__ 2017-02-28 15:00:37
Hi gnat, guess so ye.. so the correct command is "sudo apt-get install gcc-arm-none eabi" right?
Eszett__ 2017-02-28 15:01:14

Shadow_7 2017-02-28 15:02:06

I have totally destroyed the font system on my debian installation, in an attempt to rid of infinality. How do I fix it?
neoweb 2017-02-28 15:32:28
does debian change the framebuffer on start
neoweb 2017-02-28 15:32:33
why does the font change?
neoweb 2017-02-28 15:40:08
hmm
neoweb 2017-02-28 15:40:11
this is intresting
neoweb 2017-02-28 15:40:11
Found dependency on console-setup.service/start
somiaj 2017-02-28 15:44:29
neoweb: framebuffers are more a thing of the past, everything seems to be kms drivers (which emulate framebuffers). If a kms driver is loaded it will change the console.
