Some VPS providers offer to backup the VPS without you installing anything. Some demand you install a backup software on your machine. Any opinions, which solution is better?

how do I reinstall a package and all its dependencies? my dolphin filebrowser started showing up as some strange interface with broken icons and menus: http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=112884

but it's a stretch system, so the later issue *might* be a debian testing issue

heartknowledge, reinstalling might not fix it. Create a fresh new user, log in as that one and verify it's still broken with a pristine home directory (and no previous saved settings)
