I am trying to set up a local repository for my LAN. Is there any way I can download a specific package and all its dependencies for a different architecture? (I have amd64 on server, and want to serve i386)

When I installen my 100% free Debian two years ago, I installed 4 desktop environments

LXDE, Xfce, KDE and MATE

Making them kook like Win2000, WinXP, Win7 and MacOSX

I was especially proud about how KDE turned out

Hi!
Hanonim 2017-02-28 22:47:28
I have an odd behavior using iptables. Using 'iptables -A INPUT -j DROP -p icmp -s localhost' appends the rule twice
Hanonim 2017-02-28 22:47:44
but with '-s 127.0.0.1', only once (like expected)
missmbob 2017-02-28 22:48:25
Hanonim: iptables has a home in #netfilter
Hanonim 2017-02-28 22:49:15
missmbob: thanks !

veek_ 2017-02-28 22:53:09

Yo guys. Where can I see what packages each dvd iso contains? There should be some form of site on debian where I can search for the packages and it will show me what dvd that contains it. ANyone knows?
babilen 2017-02-28 22:59:57
dpkg: cd content
dpkg 2017-02-28 22:59:57
To find out which CD or DVD image contains a particular package or source file, use the search engine at http://cdimage-search.debian.org/ . To see what a specific image contains, examine the package lists within the list-{cd,dvd} subdirectories for the relevant architecture at http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/ (e.g. http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/list-cd/).

veek_ 2017-02-28 23:34:15
why doesn't ausyscall --dump|grep -i accept match it looks to be only on debian
ausinch 2017-02-28 23:44:07
dpkg cifs-utils
dpkg 2017-02-28 23:44:07
ausinch: are you using Windows?
ausinch 2017-02-28 23:44:53
dpkg cifs-utils_2%3a5.5-1_amd64.deb
dpkg 2017-02-28 23:44:53
ausinch: I wish you would RTFM.
