you don't want to just install unstable packages on stable. You can try to compile/backport that package to jessie, though for zfsonlinux you may want to upgrade to stretch or wait to the release to use it.

theartificial: aptitude search ~i shows all installed packages, the auto installed ones have an 'A' next to them, you can isolate them that way, there is also a way to search only manual with aptitude.

To clone a Debian machine using aptitude (or install your favourite packages) use aptitude search --disable-columns -F%p '~i!~M!~v' > package_list; on the reference machine; xargs aptitude --schedule-only install < package_list; aptitude install; on the other machine.
