is there a way to reduce the clutter that iptables -log generates? can i specify the fields i want
tw 2017-03-04 02:48:04
Not that this is your question, but why wouldn't you have swap space? the virtual memory subsystem has a purpose. Even on systems with 72 GB of ram, I still allocate swap space.
stoned 2017-03-04 03:08:38
I use swap file, I have MBR, can' afford to waste a partition
stoned 2017-03-04 03:08:44
I only use 4 primaries.
stoned 2017-03-04 03:09:55
And if anyone cares, this is the goofy script I wrote to throw in for ansible or other preseeding things.
stoned 2017-03-04 03:10:06
http://sprunge.us/feba <- creates 4G swap in /swap
StoBrendo 2017-03-04 03:17:52
aZz7eCh: you only have to look for cron's user and for file's permissions . That way you could know
StoBrendo 2017-03-04 03:19:06
aZz7eCh: btw, if you find something which doesn't follow filesystem rules , don't forget to /msg me
rdococ 2017-03-04 03:21:24

hi folks, does anybody know how to make sure a package comes from the backports repository in a preseeded install?
unborn 2017-03-04 03:27:13
rdococ: you can safely remove join and leave messages..
unborn 2017-03-04 03:27:17
