ugh the mame maintainer recently updated mame version in sid - if that update makes it to stretch before freeze i'm gonna be _really_ disappointed ... <- an issue that probably affects me and one or two other people on the planet ;)

of course the matainer can request and exception/unblock, but these are rare and shoudlnt' be given for version changes, only targeted bug fixes of important bugs
